Just west of the Delaware River, in the town of Doylestown exists Hansell Road. Although a modern road today, with multiple housing development along it, it was once only a gravel trail in the 1970’s and 80’s. Hundreds of young lovers and thrill seekers would drive their cars down the road, park and turn off their lights. What then occurred was beyond explanation. Strange lights, usually colorful would travel in and around the trees, floating towards the cars and then away before disappearing.

Those who saw the lights knew there was no explanation. These were no lightening bugs; no flashlights; not swamp gas or other natural phenomena. It was a smooth and silky moving light, changing in color and had a mind of its own. The lights are rumored to be the lost souls of children, murdered by an evil land owner for trespassing. For some people, the lights are said to take the shape of a human body, with two red eyes peering at those who visit.

With time and development, the lights have begun to fade. However, that hasn’t stopped the appearances which can be seen in the local park late at night or early in the morning. While the lights are the most infamous, others claim to hear voices of children laughing. Take a trip to the park yourself and see what you will uncover.

Hello, went there last night and i heard stuff unexplainable. Me and my friend were driving down the road and at first were like “this is bullshit” so we decided we would pull over to go to the bathroom. Me and my friend hopped out and heard a deep “hee hee hee” kinda noise, i told my friend to get back in the car and just stop. We started to hear bangs in intervals of 5 and we got scared so we drove off and screamed at it, (just to give you an idea we were at the part where there is a trail up on the hill and trees spread out at the 2nd or 3rd speed bump. We drove back around and heard the drumming noise in intervals of 3 coming from 3 different parts up the hill, this time they sounded more aggressive (I also have videos of any doubters) On our last time around we stopped again and we turned off the car and the drums sounded farther, then we could hear a voice/voices and the drums got closer very quickly so we left and drove home. Just to give you an idea that this was at about 330 AM. I went here before and nothing happened but this time i believe it.

As the Lord as my witness, this place is evil. Growing up there was a farm, barn main house and guest house on the property. Became abandoned and become a place to disrepair and where kids would go to party. Once, when all was abandoned and before it was all destroyed I walked through the property and heard these tremendous slamming in the barn. Sure, could be kids but we checked, nobody there. The moment is so ingrained in my mind I could deal a picture.

I was a teenager in the 90s it’s true we parked and saw a green glow before that I got out of the car and herd to pooping sounds I get back in the car we got to flat tires on the opposite side of the car it seemed like for ever to get off the road but when we did sure enough there was to flats on one side we had to get a flat bed truck to get out of there I still remember that until this day.
